PLASP Volunteer Appreciation Night 2010

Team Reptile Party Inc. just had the wonderful opportunity to display live reptiles at PLASP's 28th annual volunteer appreciation night. This event was huge, they took over the entire Mississauga Convention centre and with an awesome banquet and key note speaker. Hundreds of voulnteers that help out at PLASP's before and after school programs attended this event.

This is the setup of the banquet hall. PLASP did a great job with the Rain Forest theme. Of course, the icing on the cake was having all the reptiles there too. ;)

Here is "Edventure Ed" getting ready at his station with "Oreo" the Giant Tegu.

"Snakey Stacey" is ready to go with "Leo" the Burmese Python

And it's show time, some hands on fun with the reptiles.

Here is Dave with Sir. William the African Spur Thighed Tortoise. They got to stroll around the event and welcome guests as they arrived.

Here is Leo meeting some of the PLASP staff.

And yes, even the CEO of PLASP decided to join in the fun!
